CES 2019 surprises that are ready to change gadget trends (PART. 1)

The CES CONSUMER Electronics Show held annually in January in Las Vegas is one of the largest annual technology performances. Almost every major technology brand is here to showcase their latest products. Some of these can become well-known trends in 2019.

Opened from January 8 to January 11, 2019, a number of the latest products have been announced at this biggest trade show. Like most new technology releases, many CES 2019 products are still shrouded in mystery. Although smart phones are no longer the main focus, CES is an important foundation for global products ranging from augmented reality and virtual, 5G technology, to autonomous cars.

LG
Initially, there were rumors that the folding LG smartphone would debut at CES 2019, apparently not. The big announcement is the launch of the LG Signature OLED TV R, a television with a rotatable OLED screen that hides inside a stand when you are not watching.

LG also announced that its new TV will support AirPlay 2 and Apple HomeKit, which is a kind of theme for TV makers at CES 2019. In addition to a series of announcements of 11 new OLED / LCD television models, LG is also exhibiting a new smart alert system for household appliances and brewers smart called LG HomeBrew.

Samsung
As expected, there was no launch of the Samsung Galaxy S10 at CES 2019. However, the South Korean giant company still has many products to showcase.

The 75-inch modular MicroLED TV was released at the start of the press conference, then the 8K 8K QLED TV with HDMI 2.1 support. Samsung confirmed that its smart TV will soon offer iTunes movies and TV shows and support Airplay 2. You can also control Samsung's smart TV through devices supported by Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa.

New refrigerators and smart robots also made their debut on the show, as well as the 9 Pen Notebook and the new Odyssey gaming laptop. Samsung also confirmed that Bixby's assistant would immediately be able to control the Google application.

Sony
At CES 2019 this did not release interesting technology. The Japanese giant actually spoke of the success of his audio division in the movie "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse". Sony also claims to the world that they have sold more than 91.6 million PS4 consoles worldwide.

Unfortunately, there is no mention of Sony smartphones. In fact, the Xperia brand is completely absent from the show for the first time in years. Regarding what products were announced, Sony only released its first 8K TV, several new 4K TVs, and a large number of audio products.

HTC
HTC has had a difficult time in the smart phone sector in recent years. However, this did not stop the company from continuing to advance with other key businesses, namely virtual reality (VR).

The Vive HTC brand presents two new VR headsets at CES 2019, namely Vive Pro Eye and Vive Cosmos. Vive Pro Eye is an upgraded version of the screen installed on the HTC head and equipped with eye tracking technology. While Vive Cosmos is intended for beginner level users with simpler setup procedures and far wider computer compatibility. However, prices and availability for Vive Pro Eye and Vive Cosmos cannot be confirmed.

Nvidia
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang announced that more than 40 new laptops will arrive later this month with a separate GeForce RTX 20 series graphics processor.

As of 2018, Nvidia has announced RTX 2080m, RTX 2080 TI, RTX 2070, and Titan RTX. At CES 2019, Nvidia left the lowest series, namely RTX 2060, until the demo of the CES 2019 demo. The company showcased that the RTX 2060 can run Battlefield V at 60 frames per second using 1.440p resolution with ray tracing enabled. This GPU can provide a big boost for manufacturers of gaming laptops because it can reduce the design of gaming laptops that are usually big.
